Historic Smithville Village (Galloway NJ) December 3, 2022 - Lacey & Joe Wedding

Lacey and Joe had such a super fun wedding that was completely in the style that I love, an awesome way to end off my weddings in 2022!

Although it started off with some rain in the morning, we still had a lot of fun capturing Lacey's getting-ready at her grandmother's house.

My awesome 2nd Photographer Daoud Moon met with Joe and the groom's squad at The Smithville Inn, which had tons of great space including an intimate and dramatically lit bridal suite.

For the first look and family formal photos, we used the gorgeous area in the back of the Smithville Inn which has historic stone architecture and vines growing over everything (totally my type of vibe).

Lacey and Joe's bridal portraits were absolutely everything I would hope to capture with a fun couple in such a magical venue and surrounding village. The greenhouse on the side of the Inn was a perfect addition to include in our photos, and the famous Smithville Village with its Christmas lights was absolutely perfect.

For the ceremony, I'll be honest it was a bit challenging to get the lighting good but I ended up bouncing 2 strobes off of the side walls to blast a lot of softened light into the main ceremony area. I ended up loving how it all looked and how you could still see the rustic fireplace and feel the intimacy of the space.

Now let's just dive into the fun and show some of my favorite moments from the reception! There's also extra bridal portraits that we did at night to really take advantage of the Christmas light glow! The gallery below is a bit jumbled up in terms of order, but you should still be able to enjoy each moment on its own of course 😍
